Gartside Family Tree

Mrs. Elsie Gartside Mearman, 64, formerly of Manchester, died Wednesday in Miami, Fla. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church, Manchester. She leaves her husband, George W. Mearman; three sons, Charles G. Mearman of Manchester, Albert G Mearman of Rocky Hill and George W. Mearman of Miami; six daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Bracken and Mrs. Gladys Ulm both of Manchester, Mrs. Edith Howe of Hartford, Mrs Barbara McClurkin of South Bend, Ind, Mrs Janice Butler of St Petersburg, Fla and Mrs. Ruth Bennett of Miami; a brother Irving Gartside of Manchester; a niece and 22 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home. 233 Washington Street. Burial will be in East Cemetery, Cromwell. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

Irving is incorrectly listed as Elsie's brother, he is her son.
